More What's Your Number? set photo's with Chris Evans

Anna Faris and Chris Evans film in the North End

That's amore? Sudbury native Chris Evans and "The House Bunny" actress Anna Faris shot a scene for the made-in-Boston romantic comedy "What's Your Number?" in front of Bova's Bakery located at 134 Salem St. on Wednesday, May 26.

In the scene, Evans is sporting a "Free Licks" T-shirt and is holding an Italian sub while Faris follows the "Fantastic Four" hottie down Salem Street.

Evans, who is teaming up with Faris as her womanizing next-door neighbor, shot a similar food-inspired scene on Tuesday, May 25 where he shared a pretzel outside of the John Joseph Moakley Courthouse, located at 1 Courthouse Way in South Boston's waterfront area, before heading to the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA) located at 100 Northern Ave.

On Friday, May 21, crews set up shop at the Boston Public Library, transforming the Italianate courtyard space into a romantic dining hot spot.

On Thursday, May 20, they filmed at 236 Clarendon St. near the city's posh Newbury Street where designers transformed the space into a bridal boutique chock full of fashion-forward wedding gowns.

On Tuesday, May 18, crews with "What's Your Number?" filmed a wedding reception scene at 311 Summer Street in South Boston's Fort Point Channel neighborhood.

As previously reported in Loaded Gun Boston, crews with "What's Your Number?" are making a concerted effort to showcase Beantown in all of its glory, with one insider saying it will be a "two-hour postcard" that will focus on some of our city's swankier locales.

Production is slotted to continue in Boston's North End on Thursday, May 27 with word that crews are planning to film an Italian bridal bash at some point.

Native Chris Evans scores Anna Faris' 'Number?'

Chris Evans, the homegrown actor originally from Sudbury known for his work in "Fantastic Four" and the upcoming "Captain America," shot scenes with "The House Bunny" actress Anna Faris in the made-in-Boston movie "What's Your Number?" outside of the John Joseph Moakley Courthouse, located at 1 Courthouse Way, on Tuesday, May 25.

Evans, who is teaming up with Faris as her womanizing next-door neighbor, shared a pretzel with the actress on the South Boston waterfront set. Later on Tuesday, May 25, crews moved production to the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA) located at 100 Northern Ave. where they filmed what looked like a black-tie gala scene.

On Wednesday, May 26 and Thursday, May 27, crews are moving production to the North End, with filming slotted for Salem, Cooper, Prince, Margin, Parmenter, Cross and Bartlet streets between 10 a.m. and 2 a.m.

In the North End, word is that they're filming an Italian bridal bash. As previously reported in Loaded Gun Boston, there are three wedding scenes, ranging from a blue-collar bash to a big-fat Italian wedding to a young/corporate soiree, scheduled for the film and Faris' onscreen sister, and homegrown talent, Ari Graynor is apparently the bride to be.

Chris Evans on Captain America and the Fantastic Four Reboot!

The actor talks about playing more than one superhero, shares his thoughts on the Fantastic Four reboot, Robert Downey Jr and whether he's going to go blonde...

On Playing More Than One Superhero:

"I don't think Fantastic Four has anything to do with Scott Pilgrim or anything to do with The Losers. The only thing Captain America and Fantastic Four have in common is that they're both comic book movies. I think if you had played a doctor in a movie seven years ago, does that mean you're never going to play a doctor again?"

On The Differences Between Robert Downey Jr's Tony Stark And His Captain America:

"Robert did such an amazing job with that role, but the role was a certain way. I don't think Steve Rogers has the swagger and the attitude and the moxie that Robert brought to Tony Stark. I think there's going to have to be a different approach."

On Changing His Hair Colour For The Role:

I don't know if I'm going to go blonde! I have no clue. This is all so fresh."

On The Movies Script And Reading The Comic Books:

"I've read the script and I've got an idea based on all that, but in order to make sure the true fans are happy and satisfied, I have to start reading some comic books in order to get an idea of who this guy is and where he came from, before I can start building the character."

On The Fantastic Four Reboot:

"Am I happy about that? I'm almost indifferent! No, I had a lot of fun playing Johnny Storm - I really did. Human Torch followed me around. Little kids are amazing - they can spot me in a crowd. I can have a beard, I can have a hat, I can have sunglasses on and they'll pick me out!"

On Location: Captain America will be filmed in...London

Few comic book characters are as homespun as Captain America, who uses his superhuman powers to fight the Nazis during World War II while draped in the colors of Old Glory.

Yet even Captain America's overtly patriotic credentials weren't enough to keep a film about his exploits from being shot overseas.

The upcoming movie from Marvel Studios was originally to be filmed in Los Angeles. Instead, "Captain America: The First Avenger," starring Chris Evans, Samuel Jackson and Hugo Weaving, will shoot this July in London, where the story is partially set.

That decision was a blow to L.A.'s below-the-line community, which had been banking on the project to employ hundreds of crew members at a time when relatively few big-budget features are shot locally, thanks to rising competition from other states and countries.

When Marvel, which is based at Raleigh Studios in Manhattan Beach, launched its studio in 2007, executives said they planned to film their first four projects in Los Angeles. The studio has largely delivered on that pledge. The hit film "Iron Man" and its sequel "Iron Man 2," currently in theaters, were shot in state, featuring locations including the Alabama Hills in the Eastern Sierra, Edwards Air Force Base and the Sepulveda Dam.

Marvel's next release, "Thor," also was filmed mostly locally, including at the Getty Center in Brentwood, but also included scenes in New Mexico, which offers a popular film rebate.

But the studio, which was acquired by Walt Disney Co. last year, concluded that London was the best location for "Captain America," largely because the story is set in Europe and will feature a number of scenes in London such as Piccadilly Circus, and also because of favorable tax incentives.

Though Marvel could have done the stage work in L.A. and shot exteriors in London, it wasn't economically feasible to split the production between two locations, given the heavy filming required in Europe, said Marvel Studios co-President Louis D'Esposito, who oversees physical production.

D'Esposito, who was recently recognized by the Los Angeles City Council for his efforts to keep production in Hollywood, said he had strongly considered L.A.

"I actually had location scouts here to see what could be done,'' he said. "But it would have required so much visual-effects work and set construction, it didn't make sense."

D'Esposito acknowledged that Britain's film incentive, which offers a 20% to 25% payable tax credit on qualified expenditures, was another factor. Marvel could not apply for a tax credit from California's program because the film's budget, in the $140-million range, would make it ineligible, said D'Esposito, who personally lobbied California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger to enact a film tax program, which took effect last year. California's program excludes films costing more than $75 million.

"This is one reason many advocate that our state's incentive program be revised," said Paul Audley, president of FilmL.A. Inc., which handles film permits for the L.A. area.

Either way, D'Esposito said, Marvel is not retreating from its long-term strategy of shooting most of its movies in state."These are tough financial times right now that could pressure us to look at other locations,'' he added. "But we have every intention of shooting the majority of films here."

'What's Your Number?' film will showcase Boston

Word is that crews with the upcoming, made-in-Boston comedy "What's Your Number?" are making a concerted effort to showcase Beantown in all of its glory, with one insider saying it will be a "two-hour postcard" that will focus on some our city's swankier locales.

Production is slotted to kick off on Friday, May 14 and continue through July.

Possible locations for "What's Your Number?" starring Anna Faris from "The House Bunny " and "Scary Movie " include a one-day shoot at the Sanctuary Boston nightclub, located at 189 State St. in the Financial District. Also, scouts are setting up shop at the empty storefront on the corner of Newbury and Clarendon streets.

In July, crews will film at the new W Hotel Boston, located at 100 Stuart St. in the Theatre District. Formerly approved by the city as a Loews hotel, the swank destination at Tremont and Stuart streets is a hot spot for Boston's trendy, professional crowd and boasts about 220 rooms, with 100 luxury residential condominiums on the upper floors.

The made-in-Massachusetts flick follows Faris' character Delilah who looks back at the past 20 men she's dated in her life and wonders if one of them might be Mr. Right.

Other actors attached to the "What's Your Number?" project include Andy Samberg from "Saturday Night Live " and Zachary Quinto who stars as Spock in the 2009 "Star Trek " remake and, of course, is "Sylar" from "Heroes."

The film is based on Karyn Bosnak’s book "20 Times a Lady " and is directed by Brit Mark Mylod who previously helmed "Ali G Indahouse" before moving to HBO's "Entourage." Sudbury-bred actor Evans is attached to play Faris' womanizing next-door neighbor.

Captain America’s cowl weighed heavily on Chris Evans

a fanmade pic, for more click the following link:
http://marcel0.deviantart.com/art/Captain-America-Concept-Art-162150052

Chris Evans considered turning down his role as Captain America because he was reluctant to tackle a potentially “life-changing role.” The “Fantastic Four” star - and Sudbury homeboy - has landed the lead in upcoming comic-book blockbuster “The First Avenger: Captain America,” opposite British newcomer Hayley Atwell. But the actor, 28, admitted he had reservations about signing up for such a high-profile part, as he feels more comfortable on the sidelines in a supporting role. He told Britain’s Empire maggie: “It was a couple of weeks weighing all the options. There was certainly a period where I was shying away from the movie. It’s intimidating. It’s pretty daunting. There’s certainly a life-changing role there and that was part of the process,” he said. “Did I want to take this on? I like supporting roles, I like the way my life is now and I have the best of both worlds. This would potentially change that. But you know what? This could be a good thing.” And Evans revealed he has never read a Captain America story so he’s preparing for the role by catching up on his comic-book reading.
