The Losers back to april

It seems like "The Losers" just can't sit still. Following Warner Bros. Pictures' announcement that the film would transition from its original April 9 release date to a later June opening, the studio has now shifted the film back to an April 23 premiere.

The move was reportedly intended to keep "The Losers" from closely competing with the action-oriented "Clash of the Titans," which would be playing its second weekend in theaters. Additionally, the June move was intended to provide the studio with ample time to make corrections based on audience feedback from test screenings.

Apparently those changes won't take as long to make as initially expected, meaning Warner Bros. is returning "The Losers" to April, even if the new date is still a few weeks later than first planned.

Fans of the Vertigo Comics series have been able to catch "The Losers" trailer for a few weeks now. The gun fire, explosions and attitudes of stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Zoe Saldana, Chris Evans and more seem fairly incomparable to the decidedly more mythological fare of "Clash of the Titans," meaning all manner of action film fans should have enough time to transition from one film to the next.

No matter the movie scheduling, Vertigo is still rolling ahead with their special edition reprint of "The Losers" #1 by Andy Diggle and Jock at the introductory price of $1 on April 7, meaning would-be moviegoers have a few additional weeks to sample the film's source material.

Release date The Losers pushed back to june

The release date for "The Losers," Sylvain White's adaptation of the DC/Vertigo comic book series by Andy Diggle and Jock, has been pushed back from April 9 to a new premiere on June 4.
Warner Brothers confirmed the new release date today, which will have the film opening just one week ahead of "The A-Team," which shares the somewhat similar theme of exiled, highly trained soldiers on a mission to find out who put them on the wrong side of the law. The film stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Chris Evans, Zoe Saldana and Idris Elba, among others.

Want to become an extra in the new Chris Evans movie?

If "appear in a real-life motion picture" is on your bucket list, it's time to cross it off, no acting skills required. Safety Point, a film starring Fantastic Four's Chris Evans and Law & Order's Jesse L. Martin and based on a story by Houston attorney Paul Danziger, is shooting in Houston for the next five weeks, and they are looking for extras.

Ok, so there's no pay, but what monetary compensation could equal a story to tell at parties that will last a lifetime? Shoots start Wednesday—as in, tomorrow—and go through March 12. Most days will last about five hours and include lunch, with different numbers of extras needed depending on the scene.

The movie is described as "A David-and-Goliath law drama about a drug-addicted lawyer who takes on a health supply corporation while battling his own personal demons," and will be filming courtroom, office, residential and hospital scenes around town—meaning no standing out in the cold or rain between takes.
