Chris Evans at Comic-con 2010




Chris Evans on playing Cap: "It's a little intimidating, a little daunting, but it's exciting... The suit's fantastic."

Chris Evans on the early debates surrounding his casting: "People here might have had an opinion one way or the other, but at the end of the day I'm trying to make a character come to life. ... Hopefully if we do our job right and the movie's good, no one will have a problem with it. I hope."

Chris Evans will appear at Comic-con


Marvel Studios announced a very special autograph session with the directors and stars of next year’s anticipated blockbusters “Thor” and “Captain America: The First Avenger.”

So who will show for this exclusive, Saturday event? “Thor” director Kenneth Branagh will bring stars Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston, who play Thor and Loki, to the Marvel booth. Immediately after, Chris Evans, Hugo Weaving and director Joe Johnston will step in to represent “Captain America.”

The signing series kicks off at 11:15 a.m. on July 24, and continues through 4:30 p. m. Expect the lines to be amazingly long, and there will be 30-minute breaks built in to the schedule.

It's a wrap!

Splash Ultra Lounge hosted a wrap party for the Anna Faris movie “What’s Your Number?’’ last night. Reps for Splash tell us that Faris’s costar Chris Evans chose the bar for the party after hanging out there a number of times while the movie was filming around town. A word on Sudbury-bred Evans: He appears sans pants in the August issue of GQ.
